The inaugural OwL Ride on July 17, 2022 exceeded all expectations! With over 1,000 participants, including 70 volunteers and more than 960 registered riders, the OwL Ride in its first year became the largest annual night bike ride between Chicago and Denver.
A sincere “thank you” from the Meyer Foundation for Disabilities goes to the nearly 1,000 riders who made the hot summer night so much fun, the many tireless volunteers who assisted and the fantastic sponsors, without whom the OwL Ride would not be possible.
Congratulations to Valmont Industries, the first winner of the Parliament Cup, the annual traveling trophy held by the largest team registered for the OwL Ride (a group of owls is known as a parliament).
Please check back for updates to this page, including details regarding the 2010 winner of the Bright Bike Contest and the winner of the drawing for the two United Airlines round-trip tickets.
